- Description
- Glass beads, found in grave 18 during excavations at an Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Butler's Field, Lechlade, Gloucestershire, in 1985. These glass beads were found just behind the skull and were probably part of a headband the woman was buried with. This shows how much care the Anglo-Saxons gave to their dead.
