Holding Cosmic Dust
Holding Cosmic Dust is an exhibition intervention at the Corinium Museum staged by artist duo Hot Desque. The family-friendly exhibition invites you to explore a series of contemporary artworks by women and female-identifying London-based artists amongst the Museum’s permanent collection. The project draws out connections between archaeology, history and fantasy. Walking Roman Cirencester
Corinium Museum, in collaboration with Cotswold Heritage Walks, is excited to offer a series of historic walking tours. Roman Soldier Re-enactment Day
A day of re-enactment with the Ermine Street Guard. Watch battle formations in the museum’s Hare gallery, hear about the soldier’s kit, daily life and weaponry. Children will have the chance to take part in a Soldier School and there will be living history tables for you to meet Roman soldiers and people around the galleries.
