- Romano-British sculpture, 1st century AD tombstone of the Roman soldier Dannicus. Found at Watermoor, Cirencester, in 1835. The relief shows a mounted soldier, with the face badly worn away. He is riding to the right and brandishing his lance over his fallen enemy. Dannicus came from the Raurici tribe, that was located in what is now Switzerland.
