An Ace Age is when ice covers the planet and temperatures are much colder than today. Animals that lived during the last Ice Age had to grow woolly coats and include, woolly rhinoceros, woolly mammoths and wild cats with long teeth. People lived in caves and would have needed animal skins to keep warm during this time. Come along to the museum to create your own pop-up Ice Age scene to take home.
