Archaeology of the Ear (Live) is a collaboration between bass clarinettist & composer Chris Cundy and poet Adam Horovitz. Together they will present a series of exciting new works in response to Corinium Museum objects on display in the Stone Age to Corinium galleries. The evening event will feature live music and poetry written especially for Corinium Museum and performed by an ensemble including some of the UK’s finest exponents of improvised and new music. A series of immersive soundscapes will also be featured relating to sites where the objects were discovered in the surrounding landscape.

Over the previous six months a series of observations, discussions, writing sessions, and archaeoacoutic experiments within the landscape itself have resulted in a multi-faceted and narrative piece of work. The live presentation of Archaeology of the Ear will be followed later in the year by a series of feature length documentaries broadcasting on Resonance 104.4FM.

Musicians include: Chris Cundy bass clarinet, Bruno Guastalla cello, Dominic Lash double bass, Marjolaine Charbin piano, and Mark Sanders percussion.
