Dem bones, Dem bones… Children’s trail
Have a bone-jangling time in our galleries by following our special spooky skeleton trail. Bone up on the human body and it could lead you to a special prize. Get ready for your bones to shake along to the song at the end and don’t forget to tag us in your spooky photos! Suitable for age 5 and up

Get crafty at our family drop-in sessions and come away with a unique piece of art inspired by the museum. It is a great way to stimulate creativity and imagination, while learning a little about history. Activities may vary, but most will include colouring, cutting and sticking. All materials will be provided, as well as guidance and help if needed. No need to pre-book, just arrive between 11am and 1pm and pay for the session when you buy your entry…

Back by popular demand, our Creepy Corinium Cupcakes workshop allows you to make art that you can eat! Create a monster cupcake and hear about some of the monsters in our collections. This is a food-based activity, so please inquire about any allergies. Suitable for age 5 and up

Gargoyles Children’s Workshop
Join us for a gruesome, glorious, gargoyle gala in a brand-new workshop. We will meet at the Parish Church to investigate the gargoyles and grotesques that grace the building. Once we have our inspiration, we will head back to the museum to create our own gruesome gargoyle masks! All craft materials will be provided. Suitable for age 6 and up

Our Mini Mosaic workshop is firm family favourite. Take a look at the beautiful mosaics on display in the museum, filled with geometric patterns, wild animals, and creatures and characters from myths. Then it will be your turn to become a mosaic artist as you design and create your own mini masterpiece to take home. Suitable for age 8 and up

The Pirates from the Barn Theatre have hidden things around the museum. Follow the map and solve the riddles to find the objects and claim your treasure! You will also have the chance to enter our prize draw and WIN a family ticket to the Barn Theatre’s Treasure Island on 6th January, 2024 at 2pm.
