Drop in to this gallery handling session to look at real roman objects up close and learn about how Romans became one of the greatest engineers in history.

The Romans are famous for their extraordinary engineering achievements: aqueducts, roads, bridges, weapons and tunnels. Roman engineers improved on older inventions and materials as well as introducing a great number of innovations. Many building are still standing today and their engineering has heavily influenced contemporary machinery.\
