Celebrate Christmas with a visit to the museum to meet Santa in a stunning grotto. Hear what life is like through tales from the North Pole. Santa will share his stories from the North Pole which feature elves, penguins, polar bears and Mrs Claus. The story will last 15-20 minutes followed by traditional gift giving to the children in the audience. A special experience for all the family.

A story originally conceived for the Corinium Museum in Cirencester. It starts in a most unlikely place with Charlie dreaming about voyaging in a submarine. With mysterious ease we travel to Sagnlandet Lejre, the wonderful living Stone Age village in Denmark. Then we are whisked away to a moment 2 millions years ago …

‘Trouble at the Museum!’
Special Family Event with Tracey Corderoy
Thursday 5 April, 10.30-12pm
Author of Hubble Bubble and Shifty McGifty, Tracey Corderoy visits the museum to share an interactive reading from her books ‘Shifty McGifty’ and ‘Baddies, Beasties and a Sprinkling of Crumbs.’ Be inspired by Henrig Crumb and create your own invention or museum object for book marks to take home.
Waterstones will be selling copies of Tracey’s books and she will be happy to sign books after the event.
