Description

The goods offered for sale in the market at Cirencester became quite exotic as trade expanded. This elephant-ivory knife handle in the form of a lady with a hawk was probably traded in the market place. It was found in the Old Ship Inn, Dyer Street, Cirencester, in 1900.
