- Description
- Decorated Bronze Age beaker excavated from Lechlade in 1995. The beaker accompanied a burial. Beakers such as this were often decorated with repeating patterns made with natural materials found near where they were produced. Such tools included sticks, string, animal bones and shells, as well as simply using one’s fingernails to create impressions.
