Whispers of a Landscape by Sarah E Butler
April 12 @ 10:00 am - May 6 @ 5:00 pm
A Collection of Landscape Paintings by Sarah Elizabeth Butler. This body of work is a colourful exploration of the relationship between reality, memories and imagination.
“My work is ever evolving and branching out in new directions, but predominantly concerns itself with the landscape and all its hidden treasures; from the ever-changing colours, to the intricate patterns and textures found in the tiniest of things. With quirky fun little details, my work depicts an amalgamation that lies somewhere between the ‘real world’ and whispers of a half-remembered, half-imagined landscape.”
Sarah studied BA (Hons) Drawing at Falmouth University and now works as a Freelance Artist, currently based in Somerset. As a student, Sarah spent time at the Corinium Museum and created a wonderful portfolio of work depicting the museum collections. She has returned for her second exhibition with a stunning solo show.
