Nicola’s book, Margaret Beaufort, Uncrowned Queen is the first comprehensive biography in three decades of Margaret Beaufort.

Dr Nicola Tallis is a British Historian and author. After completing her PhD at the University of Winchester, she enjoyed a varied career in the history and heritage sector, working with the interpretation and curatorial departments at Hampton Court Palace and at National Trust properties. She was held position of Curator at Sudeley Castle, and featured prominently on BBC’s Countryfile in April 2013, guiding at Sudeley. She spends much of her time researching and writing.
