Corinium Afternoons: Anglo-Saxons in the Cotswolds

Thu 20 August , 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

£10

The Cotswolds are full of history stretching from the Neolithic to the present day. The Anglo-Saxons often get missed out as they simply don’t leave as big of a footprint in the historical and archaeological record as the Romans, who came before them, and the Medieval period after them. In this talk, we will look at all the evidence in our collection for these more forgotten people, and discover that, in reality, we know an awful lot more than we think.
