Walking Roman Cirencester
Corinium Museum, in collaboration with Cotswold Heritage Walks, is excited to offer a series of historic walking tours. Holding Cosmic Dust: Curator’s Tour
Join artist-curators Hot Desque (Neena Percy and Lizzy Drury) for an one-off tour of their current exhibition intervention, called 'Holding Cosmic Dust', at the Corinium Museum. They will take you on a guided talk, discussing the nine artworks by London-based contemporary artists which are currently installed amongst the permanent collection. Roman Soldier Re-enactment Day
A day of re-enactment with the Ermine Street Guard. Watch battle formations in the museum’s Hare gallery, hear about the soldier’s kit, daily life and weaponry. Children will have the chance to take part in a Soldier School and there will be living history tables for you to meet Roman soldiers and people around the galleries. Get ready to learn more about Roman military and bring a camera to have your picture taken with a Roman soldier! Included in admission
